This week we are doing a film that is a little different for us. Although not a horror film, it is a classic and features some iconic Scream Queens. Celebrating 25 years of pure camp, we are discussing Jawbreaker (1999).

This film is not without its issues, but from the iconic outfits to the sharp one liners, it is a great movie and delivers a fun time.

Pride month is in full force, so this week we are discussing the gayest (anti-gay) horror film - A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985).

Although we both find this film iconic and fun, it has a lot of issues with the way it handles its queerness, even if it was the 80s.

It's almost Pride month! While Scream Queen Therapy celebrates Pride every day, we do like to give a little bit more focus to the queer horror films that help inspire and drive the genre.

This week we are kicking off Pride a bit early and winding down our focus on motherhood with a true parenting classic: Seed of Chucky (2004)

Sometimes a film comes along and you think to yourself "I am so glad this movie was made" - this is not one of those films. This week we are discussing Friday the 13th (2009) - a film that is both a remake and a sequel, but also a reimagining? 

From the bland characters, to Jason's apparent superpowers, we have a lot to break down.
