This week on Screen Verdict, Matt and Jonathan discuss some of our favourite stars that have each found their way back onto television with four new television series.

We discuss James Spader on The Blacklist, Robin Williams on The Crazy Ones, Will Arnett on The Millers and Michael J. Fox on The Michael J. Fox Show.

We decide which TV series has the most incompetent police outfit, discover the expression "Carry the Dick", see a comedic version of Mad Men and perhaps find the next Kramer.

(Minor Spoilers in Podcast) This week Screen Verdict heads out on the high seas with our review of Captain Phillips. The title alone sets our imaginations off with movie ideas but after narrowing down the premise, we talk about some of our favourite pirate movies and our thoughts on actor Tom Hanks and director Paul Greengrass.

Getting into the film we talk about Captain Phillips and his ability to scheme like MacGyver and whether the pirates found themselves in hot water over hostage taking or illegal downloads.

Screen Verdict heads back to some Emmy award winning television with our review of The Newsroom season 2.

With only 4 episodes left in one of our favourite series, Breaking Bad, Screen Verdict decided to take a look at the state of play and make our predictions as to how the final few episodes will play out.

In one of our favourite annual podcasts Screen Verdict takes a look at the nominees for MTV's Best Music Video of the Year.

We watch each of the videos and give our impressions as well as a score out of 5. The video with the best combined score out of 10 will receive an official vote from Screen Verdict for the award.

We learn Bruno Mars might be a little lonely, Justin Timberlake has fallen on hard times, how to save money from Macklemore, Robin Thicke likes lambs among other things and Taylor Swift shows no regard for proper knee health.
