AN UNQUIET GRAVE MOVIE REVIEW
Jamie misses his wife. A lot. A WHOLE WHOLE lot. She died about a year before the beginning of the film in a tragic car accident. She also left behind a twin sister, Ava, who also mourns her loss, albeit, maybe not to the same level of wackadoodle as Jamie. But he’s got a guy. A guy who has given him the recipe to resurrect the poor woman. Not a terribly complicated one mind you, but one with a BIT of an issue to get the desired results. When he gets Ava to go along with the plan to bring her sister back to life, he carefully omits said problem as it’s pretty certain that would be a deal breaker for her. But here we are, at the two-hander indie horror film “An Unquiet Grave”. Most certainly filmed during COVID due to it’s solely two person cast, this didn’t exactly win over Chris, Rae, Robert, and Brad but you’re going to want to listen to find out why.

Christopher Lawrence Cox (Founder, Da Boss)
Born in the wilds of northern Virginia, in 1992 Chris managed to put all of his survival skills to use and barely escaped with his life to Austin Texas, where ever since he’s dabbled in everything from plumber’s assistant to sandwich maker, from band to bar management. An opportunity to see theatrical release films for free by becoming a critic on a local public access show called “The Reel Deal” turned into a full-time job when Chris and his friends decided to take it to the internet. They built the site Spill.com, adding multiple podcasts and animated features, to no small amount of success. During this time, a fortuitous friendship sprung up between Chris and young Brian Salisbury, who was also a local film critic, and they merged their forces of will, and their laundry list of ideas for shows, to eventually build this paradise you see before you. Follow Chris on Twitter and Facebook and check out his Amazon Wish List.

You can call me Rae. You can also call me a film lover. I’ll watch it all — small screen; big screen, and everything in between. I have attended and worked for Fantastic Fest and South by Southwest for many years. I married a film geek as well. While we don’t agree on everything, we agree on our love of movies.

If it weren’t for sad music and scary stories I wouldn’t be as well-adjusted and cheerful as I am today. Moonlighting as a musician off and on since adolescence, I am as big a fan of scores and needle drops as I am of slow zooms, production design, and third act exposition. Just about all of my screen time is spent on international horror, drama, and hour long episodic. Big fan of genre, and the biggest fan of supernatural horror and dark sci-fi with meaningful representation and narratives that use trauma, grief, and grace as more than surface-level content. Also, I read a ton of modern horror novels/comics and stan Matt Berry. In the before times I worked music and film festivals across the US and will hopefully return to that sometime in the future.

Bradly Martin (Screener Squad, Eye on the Prize, Breakfast Pub)
Bradly Martin was born in the united states and grew up on a healthy diet of sports, films, and books. A rather shy lad who kept to himself,
