HIS DARK MATERIALS (SEASON 1) TV SERIES REVIEW

The book series that the Catholic church really hopes you don’t read is being adapted into a TV series via BBC and HBO. Adapted from Phillip Pullman’s work, His Dark Materials follows a young orphan girl named Lyra (Dafne Keen) as she seeks to find out what happened to a friend who was abducted. This soon puts her on a quest involving magical talking animals, evil conspiracies, a mysterious substance called Dust, and even alternate realities. Justin listens in as Bradly and Paloma discuss this incredibly ambitious show to see whether it being greenlit for a second season so early is justified or wishful thinking.
