What do you do when you find out that the big family secret that has been passed to you is not one you’re sure you should keep? That’s the situation that Lily Collins finds herself in after her father dies. Discovering that on the family estate there’s an underground chamber and in it is a man (Simon Pegg) that has been held captive by her father for 30 years because he believed the man could destroy their family… Was her father a monster or is there something else going on here?
