#LIKE MOVIE REVIEW

Rosie’s teenage sister died a year ago, and Rosie has finally gotten up the nerve to hunt down the person she thinks is responsible and exact some sort of payback. Unfortunately, Rosie’s still a teenager herself, and not an action star with a certain set of skills, or a bunch of guns, or really any idea what she’s actually doing, but she’s been popping pills, and drinking, and she’s got to do something. At least, that’s what Adrian, Doggett, Matt, and Lewayne think happened in this film self-described as a “noir-feminist thriller,”. Check out the review, and see if these guys sound like they’ve got a handle on this flick, or if they’re a just a bunch of big dumb guys (and a puppet) who wouldn’t recognize a quality feminist film if it tied them in a basement and tortured them with microwavable frozen pizza.

Though born and raised in Chicago, this film critic is Mexican to the bone. Adrian has been watching movies since he was a child, many of which might not have been age appropriate. Still, he couldn’t get enough. All throughout his life, friends and family would look to him for his recommendations and reviews on whatever films had come their way. Hey persons, it’s your favorite canine Dogget! As many of you know, I don’t identify as a critic as much as a classy shock jock. That being said, I do my best to give all of you a well-balanced review filled with my true opinions and hopefully a few laughs. Matt Foster (Screener Squad)

Matt Foster is a stand up comic, podcaster, and movie critic currently living in the greater Salt Lake City area. His lifelong love of genre film began early, when he realized they freaked out his mom. He performs (epidemics permitting) regularly on Dungeons and Comedy, a DND live play with standup comedians, and is the slightly less mustache-y half of the Nighthawks Podcast, a cinema-centric discussion cohosted by Trevor T. Trujillo.

 

Lewayne White (Screener Squad)

Lewayne’s earliest memories are of watching movies and reading comics, which instilled in him a sense of wonder, a vivid imagination, and unrealistic expectations. It also means he spends a lot of time watching movies, writing scripts for them, and trying to get them made. He lives in the middle of middle America after landing there as a child, and has remained there mainly because he hates packing.
