LUCKY DAY MOVIE REVIEW

Roger Avary, the co-writer of Pulp Fiction, has returned to filmmaking after a ten year break (partly due to jail time) with Lucky Day. The film follows Red (Luke Bracey) as he returns home to his wife Chloe (Nina Dobrev) and daughter Beatrice (Ella Ryan Quinn) after serving jail time for a heist gone wrong. With a vulgar vulture like parole officer (Clifton Collins Jr.) watching his every move, he is doing everything in his power to keep his cool while supporting his wife’s upcoming art exhibit. Meanwhile, a French-accented assassin named Luc (Crispin Glover) has arrived in their town for unknown purposes. But it is certain that he will violently murder anyone who crosses his path as he makes his way to his goal. The squad assembled Justin, Davey, Allen, and Max together for this review because they needed as many people as possible to explain the absolute insanity they watched with this movie.
