MALCOLM & MARIE MOVIE REVIEW

George & Martha, Ike & Tina, Nitro & Glycerin. In the tradition of these legendary explosive couples comes another pair of lovebirds whose passion and connection becomes more than either of them (or us, for that matter) can take. Taking place in a single night, Malcolm (John David Washington) is feeling chuffed after having premiered his first huge movie and has returned to the lavish rental the studio has supplied him while waiting for the first reviews to come in. With Malcolm is his longtime girlfriend Marie (Zendaya), who is happy for Malcolm, but seems noticeably less excited than her beloved. It isn’t long before the reasons behind Marie’s behavior soon come to the surface and challenge the pair’s relationship. Frank, Alex, Jemarco and Nathan analyze whether or not this highly-charged couple belongs together, and if they’d even be bothered to check out Malcolm’s movie.
