MOONSHOT MOVIE REVIEW

It would appear that someone pitched a rom-com involving a college road trip where a dopey, yet lovable and of course attractive young guy sneaks onto a prestigious academic excursion that he is not qualified to be on in order to chase the love of his life, who he only just met, and is forced to team-up with an uptight bookish girl, who is also traveling to be with her boyfriend, and of course also attractive. Over the course of their journey to unite with their significant others, they form an unlikely friendship and discover their true selves and figure out that maybe their true love has been in front of them the whole time, BUT someone realized that has been done to death. So, in order to mix it up they threw in the twist that it’s the future, and the road trip is to Mars on a spaceship. Jena, Sarah Jane, Chad, and T.C. discuss the rather few merits and ample amount of shortcomings of HBO’s newest romantic comedy, starring Cole Sprouse as Walt (Jughead from Riverdale) and Lana Condor as Sophie (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before), with an easy paycheck appearance from Zach Braff.

As you can see, depending on when you met this Oakland, California native, you have experienced a completely different person, each time.
