RESIDENT ALIEN SERIES REVIEW

In the dead of night, a UFO crashes in a small town in Colorado and that same night, a doctor unexpectedly passes away. The good doctor’s replacement comes in contact with an alien who kills him and assumes his identity. This being from another world has no interest in phoning home; he’s in pursuit of a device which has the power to wipe out all mankind in the blink of an eye, and that is the end goal of his Earth mission. Unfortunately for him, that means he’ll have to spend time learning how to be more convincingly human and he’s not generally crazy about this lesser species who are smarter than pandas but not quite as intelligent as lizards. “Resident Alien”, based on the Dark Horse comic of the same name, stars Alan Tudyk as the visitor from a distant galaxy, and Sara Tomko as Asta Twelvetrees who has some earth-shaking secrets of her own. Bradly, Jordan, Harmoni, and Dogget discuss the brilliance of Alan Tudyk’s performance in this series and how that’s not exactly surprising when looking at everything else he’s done in his career.
