SKULL: THE MASK MOVIE REVIEW

In this Brazilian mega-gore fest, a cursed mask is being sought by a rich German working for a Chinese conglomerate (?), and a priest and guerilla fighter who alternately crave and fear it’s rumored powers. The mask itself has its own thoughts on the matter as it’s not very long before it’s found an appropriately Jason Voorhees-sized body to possess and is carving a wide swath through the population. Oh, and there’s also a cop who is A REALLY BAD COP but is also the protagonist? We were all a little confused about what this odd, low-budget, blood-red horror film was trying to accomplish but there’s no question that if you’re looking for extreme amounts of viscera, this is your movie. Christopher Lawrence Cox (Founder, Da Boss)
