THE AFTERPARTY SERIES REVIEW

High school reunions can be tricky. Are you there for lost love? To show everyone you’re not the loser they thought you were back then? Relive your glory days? Commit revengeful murder on a now-famous classmate? Well, all that is what brings together the star-studded cast of Apple TV’s murder mystery comedy, The Afterparty. Created by Chris Miller, this millennial whodunnit centers on the death of a pop star, Xavier (Dave Franco) who is found dead at the afterparty of his high school reunion. Tiffany Haddish leads the cast as Detective Danner who interviews each guest episode by episode, with each retelling of the night’s events being done in a whole different genre. Sam Richardson, Ben Schwartz, Zoë Chao, Ilana Glazer, Ike Barinholtz, and Jamie Demetriou round out the stacked cast to find out who was voted Most Likely to Commit Homicide. Investigating this are Bradley, Jordan, and Dogget who uncover if this mystery is worth the investment or if there’s a more interesting party you should go to.

If trends continue, Scientists predict that .2% of Canada (where Bradly and family reside) will be populated by Bradly’s children by the year 2029. A Digital Filmmaking major from the University of Central Arkansas, Jordan has done it all in film from directing, writing, editing, and producing in addition to skills involved in film and TV criticism, journalism, and years of podcasting experience.
