Recorded on 3.30 at Harlem's legendary Joe's Barbershop & hosted by Panama, please join as the CanWeBeWell team decided to curate a safe space to have some brothers to come together and share stories about the content they're consuming, define "what a safe space" looks for them and of course, the altercation between Willard & Christopher
Special thanks to the @CanWeBeWell CEOs @Nadirah.Chesnut & IAmPushinx and to Joe's Barbershop

Well Peter thought we lost this episode but apparently #BlackLivesMatter has resurrected this audio somehow. This was recorded the weekend #JustMercy was released, right after seeing it. No words can truly summarize the movie so listen the gents try to stumble around for some time. Warner Brothers has decided to digitally release “Just Mercy” and watch for free to assist in educating ppl of the struggles of systematic racism in America… #AllLivesCannotMatterUntilBlackLivesMatter
Hope everyone is flourishing during this quarantine... Noel & Peter has decided to tackle the 2020 Academy Award for Best Film (first foreign film to do such) South Korea dark comedy thriller film, "Parasite". Listen to them break down the similarities between South Korean and Black American cultures, socio-economic debates, and what the Academy "accepts" as quality film. Also listen to them continuously attempt to euro-step the butchering of names and Peter calling it a "South Korea hood flick".

While you're doing your housework, listen to the gents of #Screens suggest some shows and movies that will occupy your time :-)
Please rate, subscribe and enjoy! :-)
Hello All!
I truly hope you guys had a beautiful weekend and I wish you an even better week. Peter & Noel has decided to go back into time, thanks to Amazon Prime, to a foundation classic for black film/parody, the 1987 Robert Townsend directed/funded/starred "Hollywood Shuffle", which served as an semi-autobiographical satirical comedy of his struggles as an up and coming actor.
Just a fun time over zoom and I think we may have a new rating system because of this *pondering face emoji*

I want to ask you guy's what's going on but we are all clearly inside our homes so your screens are getting a lot of use these days between video games, cable, our devices and our streaming services. Noel & Peter was lucky enough to have this recorded pre-quarantine but let's get back to the shits...
We have the wizard in the kitchen, drug dealer chic, Jade (@RetiredLineCook) and the genius behind Toy Sldrs brands, two best selling Hip Hop culture activity books, the pencil behind some Def Jam art, and co-host of the Mighty Metahumans Podcast (@MetahumansPod), our friend and artist of our logo, Dennis (@Toysldrs/@oldirtydennis) to discuss Warner Bros/DC Comic's 2020 theatrical release "Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn", the DCEU, and of course Jade's chosen outfit.

What's shakin, fellow couch potatoes? At this point all of us are stuck in the house and trying to figure out the best ways to truly navigate these weird ass times, our homes and each other. Social distancing has us becoming more intimate with our streaming services so we decided, since Pete found a way to record, that we'll drop two episodes a week: one to run down exactly what we been watching and the other to give you a deep dive into a film.
Enjoy, rate, subscribe, comment and watch some tv/film :-)
Yes yes, good ppl... what's the move?! (See what i did there?! lol) Seriously, whats going on? This episode w got the homie, head honcho of the @WhatsTheMove app (download IMMEDIATELY), Taqee Bond (@TaqeeBond) to talk about the recent Michael Bay directed "Bad Boys for Life" starring the dynamic comedic duo, Will Smith & Martin Lawrence. We also tried something different, we found a link on Youtube (*Shrugs) to the movie so we decided to run thru the movie "IRL" to give you our thoughts.
