Today we interview Mr. Ben Kaplan, the producer behind a ton of the Rare Americans music you have heard up to this point. He's helped craft the Rare Americans sound on the albums 'RA2', 'RA3', 'You're Not a Bad Person, It's Just a Bad World', and our latest 'Songs that Don't Belong'. Not only that, we've worked with Ben on many upcoming releases as well (Which we can't wait to announce).
Ben holds a Juno Award for Producer of the Year, and has worked with as huge amount of award winning artists: Mother Mother, Biffy Clyro, Five Alarm Funk, Bootsy Collins, Snoop Dogg, Shakira, Rise Against, Gallows, Bend Sinister, Ninja Spy and Chevelle.
If you want to know what it's like to work with Rare Americans as a band, Ben is the guy to ask!
Ben is a very talented producer, engineer, musician, and a good friend of the band. We had a good talk about life, what it's like working with us, and how he got to where he is now. Ben is full of great stories and has been in the music industry for many years, so this one is definitely worth a listen!
