In this podcast, Nate and Mark will talk about using your application or database’s modified on DateTime field as one type of detection pattern for tracking net-change using Scribe Online Integration Service (IS). Using the Scribe Online Microsoft Dynamics GP connector, you'll have various entities exposed needed to create a Sales Order process integration, however, not everyone who needs integration with Great Plains has a CRM system for SOP, is on GP 2013 or 2015, or only has integrations within the entities the connector exposes. Scribe has released Insight version 7.9.0 and I have produced a few videos previewing the new features. In this video I will be introducing the new Message Processor functionality. One new feature, the ability run all Integration Process types in parallel by assigning them to a group of multi-threaded Message Processors, is available at all license levels. The ability to configure multiple groups of Message Processors is available at the Enterprise license level. Insight 7.9.0 is out and you may have seen a couple of videos introducing the new capabilities we have built in. This video discusses the new global connections feature where we have moved the storage of connections from the DTS files into the internal database. Changes to credentials and other login information for your connections no longer need to be made in each DTS file and can now be made in one centralized location. If you use Scribe’s Adapter for Web Services to integrate with Dynamics AX you have probably come across the Adapter Configuration settings. These settings can apply to any web service connection but we provide an importable configuration file with the Dynamics AX and Dynamics CRM Jumpstart with some specific settings. In this video I go over the general usage of the Configuration settings using an AX connection to demonstrate. I cover how the settings are used to simplify both DTS building and the transfer of DTS files to someone else that may need to maintain them. You will see how to change the settings, why you might want to change them, and the effect they have in the UI and on error handling.
