About King Herod's Temple:
Herod’s Temple in Jerusalem, rebuilt during the time of Jesus, was a marvel of ancient architecture and the largest temple complex of its era. Revered for its beauty, the temple was a focal point for worship and teaching. Although destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD, its legacy endures, with only its foundation stones remaining as a reminder of its grandeur. Every year in late summer, Jews around the world mourn the loss of the temple on what is now called Tisha B’Av or the Ninth of Av.

In modern times, artists and historians have sought to reconstruct the Temple through various mediums, including the latest technology in 3D modeling. Our team has spent years meticulously crafting the most detailed and historically accurate 3D model of Herod’s Temple, utilizing ancient texts and recent archaeological findings. This model offers a glimpse into the temple’s past splendor, allowing viewers to appreciate its historical and spiritual significance.

Relevant Scriptures:

John 2:20 - The people said, "It took forty-six years to build this temple, and you say you can rebuild it in three days?"

Matthew 24:1-2 - As Jesus left the temple, His disciples pointed out the buildings. Jesus said, "Not one stone will be left on another; they will all be thrown down."

Luke 21:5-6 - Some disciples admired the temple's beautiful stones and decorations, but Jesus said, "A time will come when every stone will be thrown down."

Mark 13:1-2 - One of Jesus' disciples said, "Look at these massive stones and magnificent buildings!" Jesus replied, "Not one stone here will be left on another; all will be thrown down."

Matthew 21:12-13 - Jesus went into the temple and drove out those buying and selling there. He overturned the tables and said, "My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of robbers."

About Lepers in the Bible:

In the Bible, lepers are individuals afflicted with leprosy, a chronic skin disease that rendered them ceremonially unclean under the Mosaic Law (Leviticus 13-14). This condition was not only a physical ailment but also carried significant social and spiritual stigma. Lepers were often isolated from their communities to prevent the spread of disease and to maintain ritual purity.

In the Gospels, Jesus demonstrates compassion and divine authority by healing lepers, a notable example being the cleansing of the ten lepers in Luke 17:11-19. This healing not only restored their physical health but also reinstated their place in society and their ability to worship in the temple.
Lepers in the Bible symbolize both human suffering and the power of faith, healing, and restoration through God’s grace. Their stories highlight themes of mercy, gratitude, and the breaking of social barriers.

Leviticus 13:45-46
“The leprous person who has the disease shall wear torn clothes and let the hair of his head hang loose, and he shall cover his upper lip and cry out, ‘Unclean, unclean.’ He shall remain unclean as long as he has the disease. He is unclean. He shall live alone. His dwelling shall be outside the camp.”

2 Kings 5:1-14
The story of Naaman, a commander of the Syrian army, who was healed of leprosy by dipping seven times in the Jordan River as instructed by the prophet Elisha.

“And behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.’ And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, ‘I will; be clean.’ And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”

Luke 17:12-19
The healing of ten lepers by Jesus, where only one returned to give thanks. “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?”

Mark 1:40-42
“And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him, ‘If you will, you can make me clean.’ Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, ‘I will; be clean.’”

Luke 4:27
“And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.”
