In the second part of this series, we go over the definition of antichrist again and talk about some of the characteristics of an antichrist? Why? Because they are among us today, in our very churches and in Christian culture and we need to be calling them out. We need to be taking a stand against any false teaching of Jesus Christ.

Antichrist. When we hear that term, many of us automatically think of the end times. Sometimes we think of movies like the Omen or even the Exorcist. The term has become a term of horror and fear for many, even amongst Christians.

Who is the Antichrist though and who are antichrists? Well, let's take a snippet here from God’s Word in 1 John 2.

We are under attack. The world around us is attractive and we are naive if we think otherwise. John addresses BELIEVERS in his letter. Why is this important? Sometimes as believers we feel that we are immune to temptation. That we are immune to the things of the world, but that is drastically wrong! 1 John 2 tells us how to overcome the world and later on in Chapter 5, we will get another reminder. So, how are we to overcome the world? Listen to the podcast to find out!

John classifies believers into 3 levels of faith. Fathers, young men, and young children. Where do you land? While those who are saved in Jesus Christ, God's children, we all grow in different ways in our faith. For the show notes and more, go to our blog page!

Communication is vital. For the Christian, prayer is our main line of communication. Many of us don't stay devoted to it though because we are afraid that we are not doing it "the right way." So, let's look in the pages of Scripture and see what the Bible says about praying.

Have you wondered this question? Have you had family bring this debate up after a death of a loved one? Does the Bible say anything about this? After we received an email from a listener asking us to address this topic, we decided to look into God's Word to seek guidance.
