In this Friday edition of Scripture Speaks, Pastor Tyler walks us through the story of Peter's denial of Jesus as Jesus is being taken captive. Just like Saul became Paul, we become new people in Christ, and our old selves are gone.

Today, we stay in the Old Testament, and we get our first good look at King David. Pastor Tyler walks us through the story of King David's major sin in 2 Samuel 11, and what that means for us. He teaches us through the story and shows us another reason why God sent his only Son Jesus down to die for us, which was so that our sins would be eternally forgiven. 

Today, Pastor Tyler recounts chapter 3 of the book of Genesis. He tells the story of the fall of humans with the first sin of Adam and Eve, and he highlights the love that God shows to us humans even after we did everything we could have done for God not to love us anymore. He also shows that after Adam and Eve had separated themselves from God after the first sin, God made the ultimate move so that humans and God don't have to be separated from one another anymore.

The first four days of teachings this week, Pastor Tyler has taught us all about the love that God has for us, and the different stories in the Bible that portray God's love in different ways. Today, to end his first week of teachings, he walks us through a passage where Jesus is commanding us that because of the love of His father, our God, it is time for us to turn that love outward and love those around us no matter what.

Today, Pastor Tyler takes a deep dive into Luke Chapter 15 and looks at the love portrayed between a loving father and his lost son. He also dissects the symbolism of the passage and shows how the Father in this passage is a symbol for our Father in Heaven, which is God.

Today, Pastor Tyler leads us in a study of his favorite chapter in the Bible, Psalm 23. He shares with us the truths from this passage, and how we can see the love of God in our lives even as we walk through the most difficult times that we face.
