Scripture Time

The host shares her story about her young adult years. She tells how her values and beliefs were often shaped by experiences, family, friends, church, school and society. She assumed that her acquired knowledge would help her to make good choices in life. However, she did not understand that she knew too little about the God that she claimed to believe in and his infinite wisdom.

Take a listen, as the show Host discusses Heaven and Hell. When we understand that these are real places described in the Bible, we should become serious about making a choice for one or the other. Heaven is synonymous to eternal life. Hell is synonymous to eternal damnation. Which one will you choose for all eternity?

Scriptture states that friendship with the world is enmity with God (James 4:4). This means that whoever desires to be a friend with the world is an enemy to God. The world is full of glam and glitter. bells and whistles, fame and fortune. It can be quite alluring. However, the world has a dark and ugly side that has ensnared many by surprise. Others find meaning, purpose or identity in the world, later finding themselves ensnared in a world that can many times operate like a venus fly trap. God wants to prevent or rescue us from the dangerous lures and deception of this world.
The host, Ms Joz, briefly shares some of her encounters with this world and its pleasure-enticing ways.

You may have met someone that thinks they know everything. These individuals are not uncommon. They don't know what they don't know. One way to rattle their brain is to ask them if they know how many hairs are on their head or the specific date of their death.   There is only one who knows all the answers to such questions. He is the God of all creation. The God who knows you well. The God who loves you and wants you to know him.
