Saul thought he was doing what God wanted him to do. He came away a new after spending time with Jesus. He, too, learned that he could also do all things through Christ. Very few had suffered like Paul suffered yet through it all, Paul remained faithful to his calling.

Acts 6:8-10, 12-13, 7:54-60. Stephen was a man who lived out this verse. Scripture says that he full of faith and power. And some people did not like that faith he lived.

Philippians 4:13, 1:11, John 15:5, Ephesians 2:10. Philippians 4:13 is my absolute, without a doubt favorite verse of Scripture. This verse assures me that through the strength of Jesus, I can do the things that God has called.

1 Thessalonians 5:17, Luke 9:28, Ephesians 6:18, Romans 8:26. Prayer must have a prominent place in our lives. Paul tells the church in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to pray without ceasing. Is that really possible in our world today? Yes, I believe it is. Is prayer essential to your life, or does your prayers reflect a list like kids would give to Santa Claus at Christmastime?

James 5:7-8, 2 Peter 3:15.

Luke 11:4, Colossians 3:13.

1 Peter 5:5, Philippians 2:8

1 Peter 1:15-16. God expects us to live our life for Him. We must live dedicated to God each day. We can only do it if we remain in Jesus.

1 John 2:9-11, 1 John 4:19-20. We see several times in the letters of John that we must love others. Again i ask, How is your love?

1 John 3:18, 16-17. John is making this love idea personal. What are you doing today to show you love for someone else?
