1 Corinthians 2:14, 12-13, Matthew 6:23. Do you look at things through the eyes of man, or through the eyes of God. There is a big, a huge, difference. As Christians, we must continually look at things through the perspective of God. After all, who knows the mind of God more than the Spirit of God?

Proverbs 1:7, 1 Corinthians 1:19-21, James 3:17. There are ultimately two types of wisdom at work in our world today. The wisdom that comes from man, and the wisdom that comes from God. Which wisdom are you following today?

Proverbs 1:7-9, 4:1-6, 2:1-5. Are you actively seeking the knowledge of God? If not, what are you seeking?

Proverbs 1:10,15-17. You don’t set a trap in full view of what you are trying to catch. It will not work. Likewise, the devil will do and use anything he can to cause us to get caught in his snare and stumble and fall. Two things to watch out for. Watch out for his snare, and don’t become part of those laying the snare.

1 Corinthians 3:2, John 16:12, Hebrews 5:11-14. Each of these verses teach us that we must grow spiritually, we must not, and cannot, remain a baby spiritually. Have you grown spiritually?

1 Peter 2:1-2. To grow properly into the person God wants you to be, you must first start with the basics. I encourage you to start reading a book like the Gospel of John. Don’t just read it, but study it. Use the cross reference system in your Bible to help you understand what you are reading. Take notes, allow God to reveal things to you. Sit in silence listening for the still small voice of God.

Philippians 2:2. Paul’s joy was filled when he saw those he ministered to grow in their faith in Jesus. Likewise, we should be joyful when those we lead to the Lord start growing in their faith. When was the last time you shared your faith with someone?

Philippians 1:4-6. Someone you know that doesn’t go to church asks you to pray for them. Do you? Or, do you forget to do that. In Philippians 1, Paul says it a joy for him to bring requests to God. When was the last time you prayed for someone else?

Philippians 1:12-18. In this section of Paul’s letter to the Philippians, Paul is encouraging them to be bold in their preaching of Christ despite the troubles he is going through.

Psalm 27:14, 40:1-3. In our world today, it’s difficult to wait on things. Even places like Walmart, Target and Amazon offer same day or 3 hour delivery in some areas. But, the Bible teaches that we must wait on God. While that is hard to do, the Bible also teaches us the importance to waiting on God.
