Mark 2:2-5,12. Having close friends is important. Having the right friends who will stop at nothing for you is vital.

1 Thessalonians 1:3. We must have the steadfastness of faith to live for Jesus, right up to the very end.

1 Thessalonians 1:3, Philippians 4:15-18. The labor of love is something that goes beyond our works of faith. What can you do for someone today?

Matthew 7:21-22. We are taking a temporary sidetrack on our study in 1 Thessalonians. We are going to spend another day talking about faith and works. Jesus gives us a stern warning here: we must do the will of God for our lives. In this reading, we see there will be a group of people who think they are doing right, who truly are not. Be absolutely certain that where you are right now is at the very center of the will of God for your life.
