Our actions must line up with the Word of God. This is the only way to show that we believe in God and His Word. When we practice the Word of God we are building on a solid rock foundation. A foundation that cannot be shaken or broken. The reason many of us are easily phased by the storms of life is that we are not well-rooted in the Word of God. Our roots become stronger when we act on God's Word.

Hebrews 11 shows us clearly that faith is very integral to our fellowship with God. Abel’s sacrifice was accepted by God because of his faith. Enoch walked with God by faith. Noah found favour in God’s sight and received the warning of impending destruction because of his faith. Without faith, fellowship with God is impossible. Today, Paul tells us that we have the same spirit of faith as these Old Testament saints. The spirit of faith is one that believes and speaks.
