In ‘Culture Club’, Melanie Oliveiro discovers the art and legacy of the late Kim Lim, the Singapore-born British artist, sculptor and printmaker whose works are now being exhibited at the National Gallery Singapore. NGS curator, Joleen Loh, will discuss how the museum worked closely with Lim’s sons, Alex and Johnny Turnbull, to feature over 150 works spanning four decades of her career in this large-scale exhibition. Loh will also talk about Lim’s creative process, rarely displayed photographs, maquettes, and archival materials from her studio.
