In this episode we sit down & chat with the managing director of Total Containers. Kevin Cooper discusses how he got rejected from becoming a policeman & then tried to go to university before the Port's of Fremantle grabbed him. It was only suppose to be work during the summer break for a bit of extra cash but instead he worked his way from the bottom to the top of the Shipping industry in a few short years. Which lead him to moving overseas to become a Country Manager for the second largest shipping company in the world with his wife & 3 children under 4.  

Then a big life decision was made & he gave it all away to become a self employed operator to move back to WA. Along with his business partner Greg Fleay they created a container transport business & grew it to the 4th largest in WA which they have recently sold for a healthy figure. On top of this another creation was born in Sea Containers WA in 2008 & then the financial crisis hit which threw everything upside-down. Kevin discusses how they pivoted & managed to make their business still viable, which he attributes to some of the businesses success today.
