Sean Hume, the Ontario Urban Wild Program Manager at Outward Bound Canada, has dedicated over 30 years to education with a focus on outdoor and experiential learning. As a former teacher and principal, he integrated nature into the classroom, believing in its power to transform young people’s lives. Today, he carries that mission forward at Outward Bound, guiding youth through hands-on wilderness programs that build resilience, leadership, and connection. Beyond his professional role, Sean also volunteers with Scouts Canada, nurturing a lifelong love for the outdoors in the next generation.
