When Sean Mehra started his education at Yale he wanted to become a doctor, helping people and saving lives. His career path changed when he discovered some shortcomings within the current healthcare structure. Motivated to improve the inefficiencies he had witnessed, Sean pivoted into... video games? While an unlikely choice, Sean managed a small team and in doing so, shifted his aspirations from med school to business school. In his first year at Stanford's MBA program, Sean became a founding member of HealthTap and fell in love with the company that mirrored his desire to care for more patients in less time. Today, Sean is the CEO of HealthTap and is working to make healthcare more accessible to all.
