People get offended by nearly everything, including opinions, slogans, statements, and politics. Today, we can learn from David's prayer and ask ourselves, "Have I offended Jesus?" Jesus spoke seven messages to the seven churches in the book of Revelation, and the first church, Ephesus, was commended for their hard work, patience, and faithfulness. However, Jesus also told them that they needed to work on their love for Him and each other, and we should also focus on our own hearts rather than critiquing others. There is importance in turning our focus inward, and asking God to reveal anything in us that offends Him.
