"HOW HUSBANDS SHOULD RESPOND TO BAD WIVES" How should a Christian husband respond when his wife is rebellious or contentious? The Bible presents a path between two dangerous extremes: passive tolerance and sinful cruelty. A husband is commanded to love, nourish, cherish, provide for, and protect his wife. But biblical love does not require him to ignore rebellion or enable destructive behavior. In this message, we examine practical examples throughout Scripture of husbands confronting wrongdoing while continuing to love and seek restoration. A practical Bible study on how a husband can remain loving without becoming passive, exercise headship without becoming cruel, confront wrongdoing without bitterness, and continue seeking the good of his wife even when she is disobedient. This message also examines the general role and responsibilities of a husband in providing for, protecting, cherishing, and rejoicing with the wife of his covenant.
