  • Lesson 9: Pursuing a Purity and Separation from the World
    Lesson 9: Pursuing a Purity and Separation from the World.Lesson 9 is a powerful reminder that the Christian life is a daily battle between being shaped by God or being pulled by the world. The battle begins in the mind. Satan wants to control the way a man thinks because if he can control the mind, he can eventually control the life. That is why Romans 12:2 warns us, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…" A godly man does not just avoid sin outwardly—he guards what enters his heart, mind, eyes, and spirit.This lesson walks us through the enemy's plan and God's answer for victory. Satan has a desire—he wants to destroy holiness, weaken convictions, and make believers comfortable with compromise. He uses devices such as temptation, deception, pride, lust, and distractions to slowly pull people away from God. Then he looks for doors—places where he can gain access into a person's life through wrong friendships, sinful habits, worldly influences, entertainment, bitterness, or unguarded thoughts.But thank God the lesson does not stop with Satan's attack—it shows Satan's defeat. Through Jesus Christ, believers can overcome the enemy by the Word of God, prayer, separation from sin, and surrender to the Holy Spirit.

  • Lesson 8 - GROWING MY CHILDREN FOR GOD’S GLORY
    Lesson 8 - GROWING MY CHILDREN FOR GOD'S GLORY Ephesians 6:4 KJV This lesson is about the daily battle every Christian man faces in his mind, heart, and walk with God. The world is pulling harder than ever before, and with phones, social media, television, and temptation everywhere, Satan is trying to distract men, weaken families, and pull believers away from holiness. But God has called us to live different, think different, and walk different.Paul said in Romans 12:2, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…" That means a godly man cannot let the world shape his thinking. The battle starts in the mind. Whatever controls the mind will eventually control the life. A man who stays in God's Word, prayer, and obedience will walk with wisdom and strength.hen in 2 Corinthians 6:17–18, God says, "Come out from among them, and be ye separate…" God never called His people to blend into sin and compromise. He called us to stand apart, live clean, and guard what enters our hearts and homes. A godly man chooses holiness over worldly pleasure because he knows compromise always leads to trouble.This lesson also reminds us that spiritual maturity does not happen by accident. A good man is not a perfect man—but a surrendered man. According to Psalms 37:23, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD." God directs the man who is willing to obey Him daily.As men, fathers, and leaders, we are also reminded from Ephesians 6 that we have responsibilities inside our homes: • Don't provoke our families through anger and harshness. • Train them through love, discipline, and godly example. • Teach them the Word of God faithfully.

  • An affectionate request
    ~~~~~~~ No 11 in the series - The Epistles of Peter. ~~~~~~~ **Considering 1 Peter 2:11-12** Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. (1 Peter 2:11-12) *1/ A vital inward preparation for a walk glorifying to God. 2/ A walk glorifying to God. 3/ The day of visitation in which God is glorified.* **Sermon summary:** The sermon centers on the Christian life as a pilgrimage marked by spiritual warfare, inward transformation, and outward witness, grounded in the tension between the flesh and the Spirit. Drawing from Galatians 5, Romans 12, and 1 Peter 2, it emphasizes that true godliness begins with a vital inward preparation—abstaining from fleshly lusts that war against the soul—through the daily mortification of sin by the Spirit, not by law but by grace. This inward renewal enables a life of honest, Christ-honouring conduct among the world, where believers, though falsely accused, live in such a way that their good works may lead unbelievers to glorify God in the day of visitation. The ultimate hope is not in this world's approval but in the future glorification of God when His people are vindicated, and even enemies will acknowledge the power of His grace, affirming that the Christian life is a journey of faith, sanctification, and eternal purpose.
  • Standing Firm in a Confused World: A Biblical Worldview from Genesis
    In this final episode of the Created by God: Foundations for a Biblical Worldview series, Dave Jenkins explains why a biblical worldview must begin with creation and how Genesis 1–3 provides the foundation for truth, identity, morality, and hope. In a culture that rejects God's design and redefines identity, marriage, truth, and purpose, Christians need clarity rooted in Scripture. This episode brings together the themes of the series and shows how the biblical storyline—creation, fall, redemption, and restoration—anchors believers to stand firm with conviction and compassion. In this episode, Dave explains how Genesis: • Establishes God's authority over all things • Grounds human dignity in the image of God • Clarifies identity, gender, marriage, and morality • Explains suffering, sin, and the brokenness of the world • Sets the stage for redemption in Christ • Shapes everyday Christian living—work, relationships, worship, and purpose This message calls believers to trust God's Word, embrace His design, cultivate a renewed mind, and live faithfully in a confused and shifting age.
