Dear Grace Baptist Church, July 12, 2026 In preparation to make the most of the Lord's Day, I encourage you to read Ephesians 1:1-4:32, especially 2:11-4:28 to set the command in our verse, as well as all the commands from 4:25 on in its covenantal context to build Christ's church. Were we to isolate any of the commands from 4:25 on, we would turn them into mere moralisms and they would not have the instrumental efficacy the Holy Spirit intends as each one does his or her part to build the church up in love.
