  • November Election: Faith is on the Ballot
The clock is ticking and the calendar pages are turning as we approach the November 3rd election, one week from today. What's on the ballot? It's socialism vs. capitalism. Abortion vs life. Many genders vs. male & female. Anti-Israel or pro-Israel. Secure borders or open borders. The abolition of police or law enforcement. The advancement of Islam or the advancement of Christian values. Indeed, faith is on the ballot. You must realize that those who are victorious in this election will vote on issues like these one way or the other. The control of the U.S. House and Senate weighs in the balance. But it's not only Washington DC, it's your state offices, your state legislatures, your courts, your sheriffs, your referendum questions and the list goes on. There will be decisions made that will impact and shape your schools, your courts, your communities. Former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower said, "The future of this republic is in the hands of the American voter." We must recognize both the wonderful privilege we have and with that comes an important duty, a stewardship before God. That's why the guest on this edition of Crosstalk is urging Christians to get off the sideline. That guest was Debbie Wuthnow. Debbie is president of iVoterGuide, a division of American Family Association Action. She was named president in 2018. They provide information on many thousands of candidates in thousands of races nationwide. What can we learn from the 2020 mid-term election? Will this election bring momentum to the 2028 presidential election? How extensive is the information presented by ivoterguide? Get the answers on this edition of Crosstalk!

  • The Urgent Need for Bibles!
Jason Woolford is the President and Executive Director of Mission Cry. When we compare the United States to the rest of the world, we are a land of plenty. We have plenty of food. People from other countries marvel when they walk in our grocery stores and see all the varieties and brands of each food and full shelves. Compared to the rest of the world, we have plenty of fresh water. There are many who have little or very dirty water. We have much technology and quick access to it. We have Christian broadcasting available over the air and by way of apps. We have many churches scattered all over the state and around the country. And we have the Scriptures; not just a single copy that a whole church or region has to share, but we have multiple copies in our home where each person usually has more than one Bible. But there are many around the world who long to have their own copy of the Scriptures, but due to either lack of resources or lack of supply, they do not. However YOU can change that.

  • Jn 20 - The Risen Lord
This sermon explores the doctrine of the resurrection through the narrative in John chapter 20, emphasizing that Christ's rising from the dead is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. It highlights the initial despair and doubt of the disciples, who struggled to comprehend the event despite their close association with Jesus, illustrating that human understanding often lags behind divine reality. The text contrasts this uncertainty with the certainty of Scripture, noting that Christ's resurrection was foretold and fulfilled according to the prophets. The preacher underscores the personal nature of the Savior's interaction, particularly in the moment Jesus calls Mary by name, demonstrating that He knows and cares for each individual. Ultimately, the message affirms that Christ is currently reigning and that believers possess an eternal hope that transcends present suffering, securing their future resurrection and glory.
