  • The New Testament’s Understanding of Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy (Pt 6)
We conclude our studies about the 70th week of Daniel with an explanation as to how the day of the Lord is to be understood. We show from Scripture that both references to the "great and terrible day of the LORD" in Malachi 4:5 and Joel 2:31 refer to the end of Daniel's 70th week in which we see Christ return to destroy His enemies and reestablish the kingdom in Israel. We show from Scripture why this unique day should be seen as a subset within the" broad day" of the Lord. According to 2 Peter 3:10, this "broad day" begins at the inception of Daniel's 70th week and extends past the Millennial Kingdom. Come and hear for yourself why there are precursors prior to the "narrow day" of the Lord while there are no precursors prior to the "broad day" of the Lord.

  • The One Precious Faith
The sermon interprets the parable of the pearl of great price to emphasize that Jesus Christ is the only object of true value, requiring believers to die to their own nature and receive Him as their life. By examining the Apostle Peter's journey from self-confidence to reliance on divine grace, the message highlights the necessity of receiving 'the faith of Jesus Christ' rather than trusting in human effort. The preacher uses Peter's denial and subsequent restoration to illustrate that salvation and perseverance depend entirely on this received faith, which serves as an advocate before God at the final judgment. This theological perspective asserts that conversion involves a total transformation into Christ's nature, ensuring believers can face future trials with absolute confidence. Ultimately, the text urges listeners to prioritize this precious relationship over religious routine or self-righteousness.

  • The Trinity - Part 1
This sermon establishes the doctrine of the Trinity as a core, non-negotiable tenet of historic Christianity essential for guarding against heresy and false teaching. The preacher defines the Trinity through biblical evidence, affirming that one God exists eternally in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each fully divine yet undivided in essence. By examining key passages from both the Old and New Testaments alongside historic creeds like Nicene and Athanasian, the transcript demonstrates that while the term 'Trinity' is not explicitly biblical, the concept is clearly derived from Scripture's unified witness. The discussion highlights how this doctrine prevents apparent contradictions, clarifies God's nature, and explains the cooperative work of the Trinity in salvation, sanctification, and glorification. Ultimately, the sermon urges believers to pursue a robust understanding of the Triune God to ensure their worship is directed toward the true and living God.
