Christian virtue is the strength to uphold and maintain morality. It is the strength to do what is right, no matter what. It is a character trait and not a work we do. This strength ultimately comes from God by way of faith. We are to add to our faith virtue.

What family do we belong to: judgment or glory. The godly line is the only line that wins at the end of the day. As children of God, we must live confidently. We must know our heritage as we abide in Christ. There must be definite fruit in our lives. Jesus is the root of a tree, which then bears good fruit. The world does not know God or His children. As God's children, we have many privileges and blessings. To hope in Christ is to purify ourselves before Him. God sent Jesus into the world to redeem us. Christian liberty is not an excuse to live in sin. The family inheritance takes on traits and character. As Christians, we must have outward fruit and we are to live holy lives. We should be constantly seeking God and His favor.

Last week, we saw that the wise person will make knowing God the praise and passion of their life. This week, we will be looking at a second wisdom principle that we all need to apply in our relationship with the Lord which is loyalty. Is this a character trait that you prize and believe is paramount in your walk with Christ? When you think of morning fog, what is one thing that comes to mind concerning its longevity? The word Christian literally means "little Christs" but that might be misleading. Christians don't become God. What the title really means is that Christians are copies of Christ, not just followers but imitators of Christ. So true followers of Christ reflect His character with the help and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.
