The sermon presents a theologically rich and pastorally urgent vision of Revelation's final chapters, centering on the ultimate triumph of Jesus Christ over evil. It unfolds the climactic conflict between the City of God and the false city of Babylon, emphasizing that Christ's victory is already secured through His crucifixion and will be fully consummated at His return. The binding of Satan for a thousand years symbolizes the era of gospel proclamation, during which the nations are progressively undeceived through the Church's witness, while martyrs reign with Christ in heavenly glory. The final battle, though seemingly overwhelming, is swiftly ended by divine judgment, with Satan, the beast, and the false prophet cast into eternal torment, affirming that Jesus alone is the victor. The sermon concludes with a sobering call to live in the present as faithful soldiers of Christ, knowing that every person will one day stand before the great white throne, making the proclamation of the gospel the most urgent mission of the Church.

This sermon, drawn from Luke 22:1–6, centers on the sovereign unfolding of Christ's crucifixion through three intersecting hands: the religious leaders, the betrayer Judas Iscariot, and Satan himself. It underscores the tragic convergence of human malice, spiritual deception, and demonic influence, all operating within God's sovereign plan for redemption. The preacher highlights how religious authority, though rooted in Scripture, can become corrupted by fear and self-preservation, leading to the rejection of Christ. Judas's descent from apostle to betrayer is portrayed not as a sudden fall but as a gradual hardening of the heart through unconfessed sin, illustrating how small compromises can lead to eternal ruin when grace is rejected. The sermon culminates in a powerful call to repentance, emphasizing that true salvation comes not through self-justification but through humble confession, trusting in Christ's infinite grace to forgive and restore. The tone is both sobering and hopeful, urging listeners to examine their own hearts and embrace the mercy available in Christ alone.

This sermon, drawn from Luke 22:1–6, centers on the sovereign unfolding of Christ's crucifixion, revealing three intersecting hands that conspire against Him: the religious leaders, the betrayer Judas Iscariot, and the demonic influence of Satan. Though humanly orchestrated by fear, greed, and deception, the events are ultimately under God's sovereign control, fulfilling divine prophecy and the cosmic conflict between good and evil. The preacher underscores the tragic trajectory of Judas—not as an exceptional villain, but as a warning of how unconfessed sin, beginning in small compromises, can escalate into apostasy when grace is rejected. The contrast with Peter, who repents and is restored, highlights the essential difference between self-justification and genuine repentance. Ultimately, the sermon calls listeners to recognize their own need for forgiveness, to embrace Christ's mercy, and to respond in humble faith, knowing that His grace is sufficient for every failure.
