  • Gaslighting & Projection: Could it be Happening Today?
William J. Federer is a nationally known speaker, historian, author, and president of Amerisearch, Inc. He's the speaker on The American Minute daily broadcast. He has authored numerous books including, America's God and Country Encyclopedia of Quotations, Who is the King in America?, Socialism: The Real History From Plato to the Present - How the Deep State Capitalizes on Crises to Consolidate Control and the newly released, Silence Equals Consent: The Sin of Omission. There are tactics that have been used in the past such as gaslighting and projection. Could it be that these tactics are being employed on the American people today? William began by defining projection. It's a term for blaming your opponent for what you're guilty of. In other words, the attacker's narcissistic response mechanism causes them to blame the victim when they're caught doing something wrong. We see this in the Bible. For example, Potiphar's wife accused Joseph of lusting after her when actually she was lusting after him. When Elijah meets Ahab, Elijah is accused of being a troubler of Israel. This also comes to light in the New Testament in the book of Acts. Paul was accused of profaning the Temple and starting an insurrection when in fact, it was the Pharisees who stirred up the insurrection at Jerusalem. By using projection they placed the blame on Paul. Nero set fire to Rome and blamed the Christians. Even Jesus experienced this when he was accused of being demon possessed. Learn how this is all tied in to the following: The KGB, critical theory and color revolutions. Audio from MSNBC showing their projection as they criticize Donald Trump's Madison Square Garden rally.

  • Too Far Gone
"God's point here is that if Thebes – a powerful and fortified city that had the military support of the regions around her – if Thebes fell, what makes you, Nineveh, think that you're so impenetrable? God is calling Nineveh to wake up and see what's coming for her. And friends if there's a nation on this earth that needs a reality check, that needs to wake up and smell the ashes, it's the United States of America. We've got men dominating women's sports because they're pretending to be women. We've got schools usurping the authority of parents in the name of being a 'safe space' for kids to explore their 'sexuality' and 'gender identity.' We've got demon-possessed drag-queens 'preaching' in churches and female 'pastors' bragging from the pulpit about how many abortions they've had. It's like we think God is asleep or something. That He doesn't notice, or even worse, that He approves. But if history teaches us anything, it's that God can and will bring any nation down."

  • The Fearful Antichrist
This amazing passage describes for us an individual who will be the evil world leader and will be in power during the time of tribulation. He is called here the beast or monster and will be demon possessed yet a human being that we as believers know as the Antichrist.

  • Ephesus Conquered
In 1969, at a time when the world thought the USA and USSR might destroy the world with nuclear weapons, the world watched in wonder and excitement as the Apollo 11 astronauts planted a flag on the moon. "This is for Democracy. This is for America" the flag—symbol of freedom and democracy—seemed to say, barely moving in the vacuum of space. In Acts 18:24-20:1, the symbols of human liberation from sin and wrath waved powerfully in the spiritual vacuum of Ephesus. That's actually not entirely correct: Ephesus wasn't a vacuum. It was another kingdom—a demonic kingdom. Demons possessed men, and the demonic spirits possessed the entire city in the worship of the "great goddess Artemis." They even had a "sacred stone that fell from the sky" (19:35) they believed was a gift from the goddess. Into this demonic kingdom marched the Kingdom of Christ. And how did it overcome the city? This Kingdom of Christ, through the hands of Apollos the preacher, Paul the Apostle, and regular church members took three faithful actions that ensured Christ would conquer the city. These three actions did more than plant a little piece of cloth on a distant moon—these actions achieved victory in the heart of a significant powerful and prideful city. Wouldn't you like to win? I would. These actions are still our weapons. These actions are still the Spirit's means of overcoming the world.

  • Obstinacy in Unbelief Vs. Weakness of Faith
Disbelieving God is a sin that leads to all manner of other sins. To not believe God and His truth is (in effect) to tell God that you have a better plan, or that He is not worthy of your trust, or that He is a liar (even though He knows all, sees all, governs all, and cannot lie). The path down the road of unbelief is scattered with broken lives, homes, churches, and nations. To disbelieve the God of truth is to choose to believe a lie which only leads to destruction, fear, discontentment, rebellion, and ultimately to hell.Even for true believers, there yet remains the temptation in your life not to trust Christ's wisdom, truth, love, and power in very dark days. Your growth in Christ will only come as you die to unbelief and grow in trusting the Lord Jesus. Each time you fall into a sin it is due in some way to having taken the eye of faith off of Christ and His Word. If you would overcome the besetting sins in your life, you must grow in trusting Christ and in applying His Word (both promises and commands) to your life.

  • Delivered From Satan's Power!
To hear the stories of young people who have been abused as sex slaves by wicked, vile slave owners is heartbreaking. It is indeed man-stealing which God's Word condemns as worthy of the death penalty. Those enslaved are controlled by the pleasures of their owner. May God destroy this slavery and set these young people free. But as devastating as is this modern form of slavery, we are brought to see from our text this Lord's Day another form of bondage—bondage to Satan. As the lure and attraction for Satanism grows, there will correspondingly be more lives that are given over to consciously serve Satan and to be controlled by him who hates the freedom that is ours in Jesus Christ. What we see from this account is that Satan enslaves his prisoners to do his wicked will (which leads to their destruction) while Jesus sets the slaves free to do the will of a loving, good, and holy God (which leads to life). The main points from our text this Lord's Day are these: (1) The Bondage of the Demoniac (Luke 8:26-29); (2) The Liberator of the Demoniac (Luke 8:28-33); (3) Two Different Responses to This Deliverance (Luke 8:34-39).

  • Authority For Edification -- Not Destruction
One of the most conspicuous marks that characterized the ministry of Jesus Christ was that of AUTHORITY. Authority refers to the lawful right to exercise power. Jesus possessed a unique right to exercise power in His teaching, in His healing, and in His miracles. Jesus especially demonstrated His authority in His death and resurrection. For no one took His life from Him, but rather He laid it down willingly for His people, and with absolute authority He took back His life when He rose again from the dead on the third day. Jesus Christ came in the authority of His Father, and because He humbled Himself to fulfill the will of His Father in all things (even to the point of suffering the wrath of God on the cross) God highly exalted Him and has given Him a name that is above every name. Let us consider the amazing authority of the Lord Jesus from our text this Lord's Day: (1) The Authority of Christ's Doctrine; (2) The Authority of Christ's Miracles; and (3) The Amazing Authority of Christ.

  • Demon Possession on the Rise in the West - Exorcism - Is it Valid?
Churches in Europe and America are reporting that demon possession is on the rise. Interesting. . . A nation in apostasy seems to court demonic presence.  The Roman Catholics and Protestant organizations are training exorcists. For $3,000 you can be qualified as an exorcist.  But, could this be the “Sons of Sceva” training institute?  We analyze an exorcism video taped and available on a protestant exorcism ministry website.  And, we discuss biblical principles relating to demon possession and exorcism.

  • Recognizing Demons
We can recognize demons if we notice the signs, just as we can recognize germs with a microscope. Here are some some ways to determine if someone is demon possessed. In Mark chapter 5, the demoniac could not be restrained, even with heavy chains. In America we have systems in place to restrain people who don’t restrain themselves. When someone supernaturally breaks those restraints, they may be afflicted with demons. The demoniac also did not wear clothing and supernatural strength. He was also restless night and day and had a fascination with death (living in a graveyard). Also and he had an unnatural noisiness and was self harming (cutting himself) that was pushing him towards death. Demons long to destroy life. The demons also wanted to stay in the geographic area. People who have demons will often want to find somewhere else to go. The ultimate manifestation, and more subtle form, is that the demons (and those under demon afflictions or possession) want Jesus to leave them alone. It is as important today as it was in the past to recognize demons and most importantly give our lives over to Jesus and not evil spirits.
