  • Romans - Pt1
Pastor Jeremiah Gabbard | Romans 1:1-5 The sermon introduces the Epistle to Romans as a foundational text for New Testament doctrine, emphasizing its role in clarifying biblical truth and correcting skewed teachings. The preacher highlights Paul's apostleship and his separation unto the gospel, defining the core message as the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ rather than works-based religion. Key theological themes include the deity and humanity of Christ, the necessity of faith for salvation, and the historical reliability of the resurrection witnessed by many. The exposition serves to align listeners with pure doctrine, urging them to stand firm on the gospel's power to save. The tone is instructional and corrective, aiming to establish a solid theological framework for believers.

  • Unity in Marriage
The sermon emphasizes that true unity in marriage requires a shared spiritual foundation rather than mere compatibility of preferences. Using the imagery of skyscrapers and yokes, it argues that believers must not marry unbelievers because their opposing worldviews create an unstable basis for life together. The message distinguishes between foundational doctrines, convictions, and personal preferences to help couples navigate differences while maintaining biblical authority. For those already in mixed-faith marriages, the text advises remaining committed and living out consistent godly conduct as a witness to the unbelieving spouse. Ultimately, lasting marital oneness is achieved only when both partners submit to Christ as their common authority and purpose.

  • Deception, Discernment, and the Truth of God’s Word
In this August series wrap-up, Dave Jenkins examines the common thread behind counterfeit spirituality, prophetic culture, prosperity theology, emotionalism, and other deceptive movements: a shift away from the authority and sufficiency of God's Word. Christians do not need new revelations, spiritual trends, or captivating personalities. In Christ, believers have everything necessary for life and godliness. This episode calls listeners to test every teaching by Scripture, grow in biblical literacy, and stand firm in the truth as the church ministers in a post-truth culture. • The Lord's Prayer (3)
Pastor Mark Hogan teaches on the second petition of the Lord's Prayer, "Your kingdom come," explaining that while God's universal kingdom of power (Daniel 4) is the foundation, this petition ultimately asks for the consummated kingdom of glory--the new creation promised in Isaiah 65–66 and Revelation 21–22. He shows from Matthew 5:20, 7:21, 8:11, 25:34, and 26:29 that the kingdom is a future reality, yet also present now through Christ's inaugurated kingship (Matthew 13, 6:33, 28:20). He distinguishes between the kingdom of grace (Christ's mediatorial rule over the church today) and the kingdom of glory (the final consummation). Using the Heidelberg Catechism, he outlines four facets: (1) Christ ruling in believers by Word and Spirit, (2) preserving and increasing the church through gospel advance, (3) destroying Satan's kingdom and all wicked counsels, and (4) hastening the full perfection of God's kingdom. He applies this by urging dependence on God's power (Psalm 127, 90), praying for personal sanctification (1 Thess 5:23), praying for the success of the Great Commission (Matt 9:38, Rom 10:1), praying against the devil's works (1 John 3:8), and praying for Christ's return and judgment (Rev 22:20). He concludes with the Westminster Shorter Catechism: we pray that Satan's kingdom be destroyed, the kingdom of grace advanced, and the kingdom of glory hastened.

  • Courage That Endures: Running the Christian Race to the End
Many men begin with passion, but the Christian life is not merely about beginning well. It is about enduring faithfully to the end. In this concluding episode of the Warriors of Grace courage series, Dave Jenkins examines Hebrews 12:1–3 and explains how Christian men are called to lay aside every weight, resist spiritual complacency, fix their eyes on Jesus, and run with endurance. Biblical courage is Spirit-enabled perseverance that continues trusting Christ and obeying Him through every season and stage of life. Jesus is not merely our example of endurance. He is our Savior, supplying weary men with the grace and strength necessary to persevere and finish faithfully.
