There is meaning behind all of it – all the celebrations, all the traditions, all the parties. The search to find meaning will lead some to despair. For us, it is a search that leads to Jesus, born for us. He is the “more” that many are seeking. He is the “yes” to God’s promises to all people. And we learn that he has been searching for us this whole time.
In our celebrations and holiday festivities, we are given the opportunity to extend hospitality. We are called to be a welcoming people who are filled with hope. Live it out – invite others to something more.
