Given that March celebrates both Women's History Month and National Women's Small Business Month it seems fitting that we were able to speak with, and feature, two key women serving Seaside's business community for the fourth episode of season two.
We are first joined by Jessica Newhall, Associate Director of Clatsop Community College's Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Jessica discusses the free services and support they offer for small businesses, some of the trends she's seeing in the small biz arena, the growth they've experienced as a center, and how they help make sure businesses don't lose sight of the core fundamentals needed to be successful.
Our second guest is Katie McCloud, CEO of the Seaside Chamber of Commerce. Katie discusses what the Seaside Chamber does, its mission, and some of the Chamber's marquee events - including her passion for a Women in Business event she spearheaded in 2022.
