On January 31, 1996, Carethia Curry ran some errands with her friend Felicia Scott. Carethia was nine months pregnant, and wanted to pick up the last items she needed for the baby. After shopping, Carethia and Felicia had some cake and discussed what they should have for dinner. They decided on pizza - Felicia would pick Carethia back up after Felicia picked her kids up from school. At around 5:00pm, Carethia got into Felicia’s car so they could go for pizza, but she never returned home. Later that evening, Felicia arrived at a hospital with a baby.
