On this episode we sit down and chat with Kyra, Cam and Richard from Old Flame Brewery out of the picturesque Port Perry to learn all about Old Flame Brewery, the beers the branding and so much more!

We learn about the idea behind the name Old Flame and how Old Flame ended up in the historic building it is in today! It's really cool how the brewery ties in historic Port Perry and classic styles of brews bringing a unique and one of a kind experience. Now with a new spot in Newmarket that will provide another unique experience and many seasonal and experimental brews!

Old Flame is well known for brewing very traditional style lagers including their Brunette Munich Dunkel (Ryans Fave)Red Vienna Lager and the Raven Black Lager just to name a few. We talk about the effort and thought that goes into brewing, evolving and fine tuning these beers every batch to ensure that beer drinker is getting the best lagers! Recently Old Flame launched their fruited lager series, which is a very popular trend in the US right now. Find out what drove the decision to move into fruited lagers and how Old Flame is leading the charge in bringing this new style to the forefront of the beer drinkers palate. Including Blueberry, Mango, Lime and Blueberry Old Flame wants you to try to find out what your mix is by blending two...or more.. of these fruited lagers together! Blueberry Lime and Watermelon Lime are the two popular choices!
