On this episode Ryan and Robin sit down and chat with Brandon Judd, Head brewer at Avling in Toronto's East End, to chat all about the brewery and the amazing beers being produced by Brandon and the Avling team.
Avling has a big focus on sustainability when it comes to both their restaurant with a rooftop garden and producing their beers and the Fall beer releases truly showcase that effort! Brandon talks about the local fruit that is used in their beers and how this fruit is called "B" fruit which means that it is fruit that will not make it to the stores based on appearance, essentially saving this fruit from going to landfills!
Learn how the team processes their fruit by hand and by the ton, what kind of beers you can expect to find at Avling and how Brandon takes a unique approach when prepping the seasonal beer releases!
Go check out Avling for an amazing selection of beers and food at 1042 Queen St E, Toronto, or place an online order at https://www.avling.ca/
