Season 2 Episode 5 features Josh Rhoden and Daniel Leonard from Clackamas Community College Wrestling.
Josh has become one of the most highly respected head coaches in ALL of wrestling at every level from Junior College all the way to Division I. In his 16 year run he has amassed a staggering 160-35-2 record, gone undefeated in four separate seasons, is a three time national coach of the year, led the program to Four NJCAA National Championships and so much more.
Joining him is his former Clackamas Community College wrestling standout Daniel Leonard who helped lead the team to a National Runner Up finish before heading to 4-year Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky to finish his collegiate career as a two-time All-American. He has now come full-circle and is back with CCC as an Assistant Coach and an integral part of producing 15 All Americans and two Team National Championships.
The three of us talk everything from family to fitness, the evolution of the program from basically working in a closet to the current space and what it is like coaching a National Championship team during a pandemic where social-distancing doesn’t exactly make wrestling easy to train for.
