Season 2 Episode 6 features Julia Lawson, author of GRIEF GIRL BOSS, and her friend and trainer Troy Harvey.
Julia was 39 and a mother of two when her beloved husband Peter died of brain cancer. In less than 6-months she went from happily married to the love of her life with two adorable littles, to widowed, still having to work full-time, tackling a massive amount of medical bills and trying to keep herself together in the midst of the disaster.
Joining her is Troy Harvey, an incredibly smart and gifted coach and trainer, teamed up with Julia during this incredibly trying time to help bring out the best version of her both physically and mentally as she worked to rebuild her life.
All of this incredible work culminated in her book, "Grief Girl Boss" which is an incredible tool for anyone going through, or helping someone else process grief and loss.

Season 2 Episode 5 features Josh Rhoden and Daniel Leonard from Clackamas Community College Wrestling.
Josh has become one of the most highly respected head coaches in ALL of wrestling at every level from Junior College all the way to Division I. In his 16 year run he has amassed a staggering 160-35-2 record, gone undefeated in four separate seasons, is a three time national coach of the year, led the program to Four NJCAA National Championships and so much more.
Joining him is his former Clackamas Community College wrestling standout Daniel Leonard who helped lead the team to a National Runner Up finish before heading to 4-year Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky to finish his collegiate career as a two-time All-American. He has now come full-circle and is back with CCC as an Assistant Coach and an integral part of producing 15 All Americans and two Team National Championships.
The three of us talk everything from family to fitness, the evolution of the program from basically working in a closet to the current space and what it is like coaching a National Championship team during a pandemic where social-distancing doesn’t exactly make wrestling easy to train for.

Season 2 Episode 4 is a 2-parter at Joint Base Lewis-McChord with Alycia, Zack and Paul. They are three of the smartest people the Army has to offer as we talk about the Army's H2F system.
The Army's philosophy is all about putting people first and that winning matters, which means the teams they put together are going to be highly trained, disciplined and incredibly fit. The H2F System is the Army's primary investment in making their soldiers ready by being in optimal physical and mental performance, reducing injury rates, improving their rehabilitation after injury, and increasing the overall effectiveness of the Total Army.
Alycia, Zack and Paul are a huge part of the H2F program and it is going to take a 2-part episode to get through it all.

Season 2 Episode 3 is all about POWER people! Melanie Schoepp and Ryan Stills are the ultimate power-couple and we got a chance to sit down at their gym Odd Barbell.
Melanie is a badass powerlifting and strength coach. With a degree in Kinesiology, she leads the industry as one of the top coaches in the game.
Ryan is an 8x USAPL/IPF powerlifting champion and 5x IPF Master's World Team Member. He holds multiple victories and records with extensive experience on the international stage.
Together they are the backbone of Odd Barbell, a family-owned strength-based gym in Southeast Portland. They operate completely against the grain of the typical Globo Gym culture and are at the top of the class by being accessible and welcoming to people of all backgrounds who simply want to learn, grow and become stronger versions of themselves.
