Joyce Mbaya-Ikiao is the founder of Zydii, an online learning platform that provides affordable courses for Africans, to help them succeed in all areas of their lives, she is a Dynamic Entrepreneur who has launched and runs successful business enterprises in line with her overall business vision to champion the empowerment of the people of Africa. Joyce is also a published author who launched her book, GIBÉBÉ: imaGIne, BElieve, BEcome, in 2011, and has worked with various organizations to enable them achieve success through the GIBÉBÉ framework.
Her career began in 2001 in the banking sector and showcases remarkable growth in various industries until she left to become a full-time entrepreneur. Joyce is well-known having been selected out of thousands of applicants as one of three Kenyan representatives on the competitive business reality show, The Apprentice Africa, in 2008. She demonstrated superb Leadership and Project Management Skills and her diverse talents, creativity and energy made her popular.
Drawing from over 10 years of executive business experience, Joyce is also a trainer with expertise mainly on Leadership, Customer Service, Leading Gen-Y, Self-Awareness, People Skills, Teamwork and Productivity. She also has advisory expertise in the areas of Strategy, Branding, Innovation, Project Management, Product Development and Information Technology.
In 2011, Joyce had the honor of being selected as the opening speaker for Robin Sharma in Nairobi (one of the top leadership coaches in the world). She has also been recognized for speaking at the ICPAK 20th Economic Symposium, Equity Bank Leadership Congress (2012) and IIA (Kenya) 10th Annual Conference among others.
Joyce has appeared in various media magazines and TV shows. She has a large following, leads as a visionary and innovator in various facets of business and continues to inspire & empower others to live up to their potential and be the best they can be.
