Today we celebrate a deacon and martyr of the church, St. Lawrence. He was a defender of the Church in Rome. He gave up his life to preach about Jesus and care for those in the communities. He is a Patron Saint of Rome,  comedians, archivists, librarians, students, miners, and chefs. St. Lawrence... pray for us.
