What an absolute treat & honor for us to have one of Philippine's treasures, Maria Isabel Lopez, an actress, advocate, and was the representative in the 31st Miss Universe Pageant in 1982. This season premiere also marks her 40th anniversary since she won the title back in March 1982. In this season opener, we dive deeper into her journey from her humble beginnings in poverty, to winning the title (and fighting back after being forced to return the title) and how she's spent the rest of her life/career empowering all of us to show up unapologetically in this lifetime.
