Episode Synopsis:

Tim is over the moon when his old shop teacher and mentor Mr. Leonard comes over for dinner. After a fun evening of swapping tool stories from Tim’s youth, Tim invites Mr. Leonard on Tool Time to impart some more of his shop teacher wisdom. When Mr. Leonard’s arthritis makes it difficult for him to operate a tool on set, Tim tries to jump in and help - and in response, Mr. Leonard yells at him in front of the whole crew and storms off set. Back home, Wilson helps Tim understand that Mr. Leonard feels emasculated by his inability to do the tool stuff that he conflates with manhood, and Tim resolves to try and derive his manhood from his family and friends, not his ability to use tools.
