One of my favorite director/actors, Josh Ruben, took time out of his busy schedule to jump on the show to talk about his start in indie filmmaking and how he went from working for CollegeHumor to directing his first feature and building his career of that. He also discusses what thing he learned in the early days of creating shorts, the importance of score in films, utilizing small budgets, hitting a creative wall and finding inspiration, acting in a film shot on 16mm, putting your stamp on a script you didn't write, and much more.
