Craving real winter again, he set his sights on one of the harshest environments on Earth: northern Mongolia in the dead of winter. His goal wasn’t just adventure, but to find the elusive reindeer herders who live deep in the remote taiga, far from roads, cities, and modern comforts.

What followed was a journey filled with uncertainty and risk — endless snowfields, temperatures plunging far below zero, and long drives across frozen lakes alongside local drivers hauling vodka between isolated settlements, sometimes navigating more by instinct than sobriety. Battling isolation, language barriers, and extreme conditions, he discovered a way of life shaped entirely by survival, tradition, and resilience... and of course the biggest attraction- A REINDEER HERD!
